Axie is a sturdy, fairly well developed platform, which is highly centralized (developed by one studio). It aims at the extremely lucrative and fast growing (specially in Asia and Latin America) market of Play and Earn. Its team is composed of young and gifted but relatively inexperienced devs and execs. Axie is based in Vietnam and its legal status is not clear. This platform has received a very mild support from VCs. It generates a good revenue flow. Its token - AXS - is clearly overbought and ~50 percents correction is expected from the current ATH. Additionally, almost 80 percents of all AXS are concentrated on one account. That makes AXS future a very uncertain one.
