U.S. Is Leading In Bockchain Jobs
"The NextWeb" (TNW) - a tech conference organizers (established in 2006 and based in Amsterdam) - published a report, where they analyzed a total of 5,711 blockchain jobs listed on the recruiting site "Glassdoor".
Citing: "The results reportedly showed that the U.S. is leading the world in terms of blockchain-related jobs ... followed by the United Kingdom ... while India has taken the third place ..."
Citing: "In the top 10 companies, only three are reportedly related to digital currencies, which are Foris Limited, Crypto.com, and Wirex. Payment startup Ripple is on the 17th line, and blockchain software tech company ConsenSys is the 13th."
Citing: "In February, recruitment company Hired released a report showing that the global demand for blockchain engineers is up by 517 percent year-over-year."
Citing: "Among the most common jobs posted on the site, 'Blockchain Engineer' takes the lead. Such positions as 'Senior Software Engineer' and 'Blockchain Developer' are the second and third most popular job titles, respectively."
Comment: This report is obviously skewed. Analyzing one job site won't provide you with reliable data. However, it might also occasionally reveal some tendencies, including, that the most prominent and well financed DLT projects are now concentrating around big corporations and that building DLT platforms largely out-paces adapting them to the real market needs (non-technical DLT jobs are absent).
